    Spring 2022 - Pecic Lab

    We welcome new students to the lab this semester: three graduate students Jeannes Angelia, Xiaohui Weng and Henry Nguyen, and three undergraduate students: Melissa Valenzuela, Jasmine Chi and Kimberly Gutierrez. On the picture below are (from the left): Kimberly, Jasmine, Makar, Dr. Pecic, Ryan, Michael, Jeannes and Leah. We missed Aleksei, Henry, Xiaohui, Tiffany, Melissa and Skyelur.

    Pecic and Kandasamy Labs formed a research team and attended Fall 2021 CSU I-Corps workshop to explore potential commercialization of their collaboration. The team, composed of Dr. Stevan Pecic and Makar Makarian from CSU Fullerton and Dr. Ram Kandasamy from CSU East Bay presented their research project at CSU I-Corps session at 34th CSUPERB Symposium.     Michael and Tiffany Presented their Posters at 2022 CSUPERB

    Micheal and Tiffany presented their posters at 34th Annual CSU Biotechnology Symposium that was held from January 12-15, 2022. Michael presented a poster titled A polypharmacology approach: Development of dual FAAH/AChE inhibitors for the treatment of chronic pain in patients with Alzheimer’s disease. Tiffany presented a poster: In vitro Development of DNA Based Biosensors for Pesticide Imidacloprid. Congratulations!!!
